December 2010 – TOKOS RFID barrier system opens entrance to ThyssenKrupp head office

This autumn another TOKOS barrier system was put into operation at ThyssenKrupp Steel AG. It controls the entrance gate to the car park of the head office in Duisburg and was installed within a few days. The intelligent software makes sure that only authorized staff may use the parking area. Once a vehicle is approaching, the RFID card of the staff member is identified and matched with the database entries.
