Laiwu steel, one of the biggest heavy plate producers in China decided in February 2009 to use LogoTek solutions for the realization of an information system for the crane drivers. As part of a yard management and production planning system at altogether 45 cranes production data must be visualized. Altogether 45 reliable industrial PCs and 32 Wireless LAN Access Points needed to be installed in the halls of the Laiwu Steel Plant. Endless storage yards and production facilities, huge outdoor areas and extreme conditions made this task extremely demanding.
Only 7 month after the order was placed the system could be commissioned successfully by LogoTek.
